HILLARY HAS 35 YEARS OF POLITICAL CAMPAIGN EXPERIENCE

Filed under: BARACK OBAMA, Bush, life, mideast, news, politics, war — gasdocpol @ 2:07 pm

OBAMA HAS MUCH LESS EXPERIENCE THAN HILLARY IN RUNNING FOR OFFICE.

In October 2002 Hillary had 29 years of experience when she failed to grasp the significance of the following facts:

1. That Saddam posed no imminent and direct threat to the United States, or to his neighbors, that the Iraqi economy is in shambles, that the Iraqi military a fraction of its former strength, and that in concert with the international community he can be contained until, in the way of all petty dictators, he would fall away into the dustbin of history.

2. A successful war against Iraq would require a US occupation of undetermined length, at undetermined cost, with undetermined consequences.

3. That an invasion of Iraq without a clear rationale and without strong international support will only fan the flames of the Middle East, and encourage the worst, rather than best, impulses of the Arab world, and strengthen the recruitment arm of al-Qaeda.

4. That Iraq would be a dumb war.

THESE ARE THE THINGS THAT OBAMA KNEW ON OCTOBER 26, 2002. For his full speech google obama oct 2002 iraq

IT IS NOT THE NUMBER OF YEARS EXPERIENCE BUT THE JUDGEMENT THAT IS ACQUIRED IN THE COURSE OF THOSE YEARS.

That Obama acquired better judgement after having fewer years of “experience” suggests to me that Obama has more talent and aptitude than Hillary for being President.
