Experience without the acquisition of judgement is an indication of incompetence

Filed under: BARACK OBAMA, hillary clinton, life, mideast, news, politics, war — gasdocpol @ 1:55 pm

AFTER THOSE 35 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE THAT HILLARY LIKES TO BRAG ABOUT, SHE STILL HAD NOT OBTAINED A GRASP OF FOREIGN RELATIONS AND THE POLITICAL AND MILITARY CONSEQUENCES OF THE PROPOSED IRAQ INVASION.

Even before Barack Obama was a US Senator in 2002, lacking the perported experience tauted by Hillary, he was able to predict with uncanney accuracy the actual results of an invasion of Iraq.

THIS WAS NOT A RESULT OF A LUCKY GUESS.

Barack Obama told us IN OCTOBER 2002 the reasons why the invasion of Iraq was a very bad idea. In doing so he demonstrated: knowledge, common sense, decision making ability and judgement. (for his full speech google obama oct 2002 iraq)

Here is part of his October 26, 2002 speech

“But I also know that Saddam poses no imminent and direct threat to the United States, or to his neighbors, that the Iraqi economy is in shambles, that the Iraqi military a fraction of its former strength, and that in concert with the international community he can be contained until, in the way of all petty dictators, he falls away into the dustbin of history.

I know that even a successful war against Iraq will require a US occupation of undetermined length, at undetermined cost, with undetermined consequences. I know that an invasion of Iraq without a clear rationale and without strong international support will only fan the flames of the Middle East, and encourage the worst, rather than best, impulses of the Arab world, and strengthen the recruitment arm of al-Qaeda.

I am not opposed to all wars. I’m opposed to dumb wars.”

DESPITE THOSE 35 YEARS OF “EXPERIENCE” HILLARY STILL VOTED FOR A DUMB WAR AND WE HAVE PAID DEARLY FOR THAT MISJUDGEMENT. I WANT OBAMA TO BE THE ONE TO PICK UP THAT PHONE AT 3 AM.
