BARACK OBAMA GRADUATED MAGNA CUM LAUDE FROM HARVARD LAW SCHOOL AND PRESIDENT OF HARVARD LAW REVIEW.
That did not make McCain the fifth dumbest Midshipman that year and that did not necessarily make Obama the smartest graduate of Harvard Law School that year (although if there were a draft for law graduates, Obama would have been #1 pick even if he were white).
Our two biggest problems are the economy and the Iraq war. How have they done in real life?
McCain , by his own admission, does not know much about economics.
McCain does not know the difference between Sunnis, Shiites and Al Qaeda and therefore does not have the most basic understanding of Mideast politics.
BUT John McCain survived 5 1/2 years as a POW. Does that trump all else and make him the most qualified to be President?
By his own admission, McCain is superstitious. How is that going to enter into his decision -making processes?
Obama is cool. McCain has a temper. I think that I want Obama to take that 3 AM phone call.

As a 70-some-year-old alum of Canoe U., there is little that would give me more pleasure than voting for a fellow alum … that said, I will be voting for Barack Obama … maybe, and that’s a big MAYBE, I could have voted for McNasty in 2000, but that is not the one that’s running in 2008 … he “Straight Talk Express” has morphed into the “Forked Tongue Express”, and John is willing to say anything, do anything, kiss any ass to get this nomination. Because of his flip=flops, especially with the “advocates of intolerance [i.e., the “amerikan taliban” and their ayatollas and imams(robertson, falwell, f. graham, dobson, weidmon, haggard. reed, et al)” the nomination of the rebubbacan party, to quote John Nance Garner, ” … isn’t worth a bucket of spit” {although there is argument he said something else.

McCain apparently slept in economics class too.
I don’t even think that he learned much about navigation at the Naval Academy if he wants to “stay the course” in Iraq.

Google is great. You can retrieve data and quotes to document your blogs. All you have to do is to ask the right question. For example you can google and find Obama’s speech in which he stated not only THAT the Iraq invasion was a bad ideabut also WHY it was a bad idea. Not bad for a young whippersnapper.
