A CLOSER LOOK AT JOHN McCAIN’S NAVY RECORD IS NOT PRETTY

IF HE DID NOT HAVE A FATHER AND GRANDFATHER WHO WERE 4 STAR ADMIRALS, McCAIN WOULD NOT HAVE EVEN GOTTEN INTO THE NAVAL ACADEMY MUCH LESS GRADUATED 895 OUT OF 899 IN HIS CLASS.

As a midshipman, McCain was a raunchy, rowdy party boy. He got into flight school because of his 4 star admiral ancestors. During flight training, he continued his partying and was a risk-taking hot dog flyboy wrecking several of his own planes and probably causing the disaster fire on the USS Forrestal that killed 168 sailors, destroyed 20 planes and almost sunk the ship. He was quickly transferred to the USS Oriskany to keep him from being fragged by his shipmates.

His 23 combat missions over Vietnam is not an impressive number and there is nothing to suggest that they were heroic.

We have only Mcain’s account in his POW experience. The best one could say of his internment as a POW is that he was a survivor. The worst that can be said that he got special treatment because he was the son of the admiral and he sang like a canary♫♪. There is some testimony that when he was supposedly in solitary confinement, he was actually in a Hanoi apartment with prostitutes.

  1. The USS Forrestal, nick name garbage dump, or uss never sail, had so many problems it would not surprise me if the crew set the fire just to get off that rat infested heap of crap.

There are ships like that. Maybe McCain was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

McCain was guilty of a lot of misbehavior in high school , at the Naval Academy and as a Naval aviator. I recently saw a tape with testimony that he gave accurate and specific information that resulted in U.S. Naval aviators getting shot down.
