WHEN I FIRST HEARD THERE WAS NO SANTA CLAUS, I RESISTED THE IDEA AT FIRST

IT WILL BE THE SAME WITH THE NOTION THAT EVEN IF, INDEED, JOHN McCAIN WERE A WAR HERO, IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT IT QUALIFIES HIM TO BE PRESIDENT.

It will take some getting used to the idea. The idea that a “war hero” becomes President works pretty well in the movies.

John McCain has always been a loose cannon since his days in high school when he was known as “Punk McNasty” . By the time he got through the Naval Academy, he got pretty good tap-dancing around his capers. He took 23 unexceptional combat missions and with his salty demeanor, BSed his way into a Senate career.

McCain is a superstitious compulsive gambler with an anger management problem most recently demonstrated when he was asked by a reporter how his military service qualified him to be commander-in-chief.

I have always maintained that John McCain is GW Bush on steroids. Bush was a cheerleader, McCain was a jock.

Both of them got into presigeous colleges because illustrious fathers and grandfathers preceeded them there. They both were lowsy students.

Bush was a drifter with a drinking problem until he was 40 and then a failed businessman until the Neocons propped him up as their front.

McCain was a raunchy partyboy and risk-taking hot dog pilot who convinced people he was a war hero and was a picturesque Senator who has Neocons gathering about him as advisors and speechwriters.

The Iraq war came out of a now defunct Neocon think tank PNAC (Project for the New american Century) which included:Cheney,Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and many other Bush “advisors”
