Famed prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi, foreshadowing the Senate committee report with much of the same damning evidence, argues in a new book that Bush “deserves much more than impeachment”–a penalty he considers incommensurate with the crimes committed. In The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder, the New York Times bestselling author and prosecutor lays out the legal case for prosecuting President Bush in a US courtroom after he leaves office.
Bugliosi writes, “4000 young Americans decomposing in their grave today died for George Bush and Karl Rove and Dick Cheney.” His book is not only a scathing indictment of the President and his Administration but also a blueprint for holding him criminally accountable. Bugliosi accuses Bush of taking the nation to war in Iraq under deliberately false pretenses and thus holds him culpable for thousands of subsequent deaths, detailing in The Prosecution the legal basis for such a case and laying out what he argues is the requisite evidence for a murder conviction.
While at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office, Bugliosi successfully prosecuted twenty-one murder convictions without a single loss, most famously that of serial murderer Charles Manson. He also penned a number of best-selling true-crime books, including Helter Skelter and Outrage.

Bugliosi is just another asinine and angry left-wing kook with a twist. He’s trying to sell a book. Did you ever hear the phrase, “Beware of Greeks bearing gifts”? Bugliosi may not be Greek but he is definitely bearing a gift for all of his fellow loony liberals. “Brain food” (and I use that term extremely lightly) for their insane and insatiable thirst for Bush’s blood.
The problem is, the “gift” he is bearing comes at a price. Conveniently the price of his new book. He’s fleecing those foolish malcontents for $26.95 and they’re too stupid and blind-rage-driven to even notice. And it couldn’t happen to a better bunch. Bugliosi should be applauded for recognizing the sales opportunity not for his facts.
C-SPAN is presently airing a speech Bugliosi gave to Progressive Democrats of America peddling his putrid politics and poorly-selling book. He was sweating and fretting and ranting and panting like a psychotic streetperson. All the while being cheered and celebrated by the collection of fellow-conspiracy loving kooks who welcome any and all anti-Bush rhetoric.
Fame is ultimately fleeting and Bugliosi’s “15 minutes” are just about up. This is his last-gasp effort to get noticed. Bugliosi needs to stick to what he knows: crime. As in, it should be a crime for him to take advantage of those who are clearly mentally incapacitated.

I take Bugliosi more seriously than you do.
Apparently you still take GW Bush seriously for reasons best known to yourself. You certainly are entitled to your opinion.
If I were GW Bush, I would be concerned.
I noticed that his book was #10 on the NY Times list as of today.

Didn’t the O.J. Simpson trial teach you anything? Even if this idiot were to bring Bush up on the trumped up murder charge (when it should really be criminally negligent involuntary manslaughter), money always wins in our legal system.
I’m sure GW is not concerned in the least and you shouldn’t worry your pretty little head about it either.

Bugliosi is no idiot. He wrote a book about the OJ trial which I read with much interest.
“Outrage: The Five Reasons Why O.J. Simpson Got Away With Murder” It is available in paperback.
I am not holding my breath waiting for justice.
Alas , you are right money usually wins.
If it were anyone but Bugliosi I would not have paid any more attention to him than I do to to Kucinich.
